Mumbai: Mumbai Municipal Corporation and Water Resources Department conducting a exam of Junior Engineer post on same date, that is 25th November 2019 thousands of engineers have been hanged after know that the exam date of both department is same. The municipality, which had earlier announced recruitment of 243 junior engineers to Mumbai Municipal Corporation, has now decided to take the online recruitment exam for the vacancies of a total of 341 junior engineers, adding 90 more posts to these posts. This includes a total of 243 posts of Junior Engineer (Architect / Civil) and 98 posts of Junior Engineer in Mechanical and Electrical Department.

All these vacant posts will be filled from open and backward classes, and backward candidates will be charged Rs 400 and open category candidates Rs 600. The exam will be started within 15 days following the approval of the Standing Committee. The vacancies for the posts of Junior Engineer in Civil, Mechanical and Electrical (Department of Civil) in various departments of Mumbai Municipal Corporation will now be filled up with direct service recruitment.

After the advertisement was published on behalf of the municipality it was decided to recruit a total of 341 junior engineers. In order to implement the recruitment process of these 341 junior engineers, the municipality has implemented IBPS. This organization has been selected and the proposal has been sent for approval before the Standing Committee meeting for approval to implement the recruitment process. The Code of Conduct had barred further process after it was earlier advertised to fill the vacancies of 243 junior engineers. Therefore, the administration has decided to fill 341 junior engineers with some more vacancies.

Five years ago, on vacant positions from Maratha quota for various posts was get recruit from open category candidates. On this state government order to cancel this recruitment process. For 15 employees went to high court against this appeal. High Court will given its decision on 7th November 2019, weather the recruitment canceled or will be continue or nay other way out.

As high court approved the Maratha reservation, state government fill up various temporary posts of 3rd & 4th grade from open category. In this recruitment process there was 2 thousand 700 posts of government employees which was canceled. Also order for same was released on 12th July.

As on orders from 12th July, nun open category employees service may get end, though state government canceled the recruitment to 417 employees posts. On focusing on this issues raised from the recruitment process Justice Ranjeet More & Justice MS Karnik bench started their investigation on Monday. The hearing regarding the petition will be done on 7th November as said.
