GATE 2021 परीक्षेच्या पॅटर्न मध्ये बदल-

इंडियन इन्स्टिट्यूट ऑफ टेक्नॉलॉजी IIT मुंबईने ग्रॅज्युएट अॅप्टिट्यूड टेस्ट इन इंजिनीअरिंग अर्थात गेट परीक्षेचे वेळापत्रक जारी केले आहे. अधिकृत माहितीनुसार, गेट २०२१ साठी अॅप्लिकेशन विंडो १४ ते ३० सप्टेंबर या कालावधीत खुली होणार आहे. अर्ज ७ ऑक्टोबरपर्यंत शुल्कासह जमा करता येणार आहे. जमा केलेल्या अर्जात सुधारणा करण्याची सुविधा १३ नोव्हेंबरपर्यंत उपलब्ध असेल.

यंदा दोन नव्या विषयांची भर-

गेट २०२१ मध्ये यंदा दोन नव्या विषयांची भर पडली आहे. एन्व्हायर्नमेंटल सायन्स अँड इंजिनीअरिंग आणि ह्युमॅनिटिज अँड सोशल सायन्स हे दोन विषय नव्याने समाविष्ट करण्यात आले आहेत.

गेट २०२१ साठी पात्रता निकषांत बदल

GATE 2021 साठी पात्रता निकषांमध्ये यंदा सवलत देण्यात आली आहे. यूजीचे तृतीय वर्षाचे विद्यार्थी देखील गेट २०२१ परीक्षेसाठी अर्ज करू शकणार आहेत.

आयआयटी मुंबईने एका निवेदनात म्हटले आहे की, ‘GATE 2021 परीक्षा देण्यासाठी पात्रता निकष १०+२+४ असायचा तो यंदा १०+२+३ केला आहे. म्हणजेच पदवीपूर्व अभ्यासक्रमाच्या तिसऱ्या वर्षाला असणारे विद्यार्थी देखील ही परीक्षा देऊ शकतात.’

पात्रता

• अभियांत्रिकी / तंत्रज्ञान / आर्किटेक्चर / विज्ञान / वाणिज्य / कला, एमबीबीएस, पदव्युत्तर पदवी (कला / विज्ञान / गणित / सांख्यिकी / संगणक अनुप्रयोग)

परीक्षेचा नवीन पॅटर्न

गेट परीक्षेची माहिती पुस्तिका आयआयटी मुंबईने संकेतस्थळावर उपलब्ध केली आहे. यानुसार यंदा परीक्षेच्या पॅटर्नमध्येदेखील काही बदल करण्यात आले आहे. विद्यार्थ्यांना MCQ (मल्टीपल चॉइस क्वेश्चन्स) आणि NAT (न्यूमरिकल आन्सर टाइप क्वेश्चन्स) सोबतच यंदा मल्टीपल सिलेक्ट क्वेश्चन्स असतील. गुणांची विभागणी पुढीलप्रमाणे –

सब्जेक्ट क्वेश्चन्स – ७२ मार्क
जनरल अॅप्टिट्यूड – १५ मार्क
इंजिनीअरिंग मॅथेमॅटिक्स – १३ मार्क
एकूण गुण – १००

परीक्षा केंद्रांमध्ये वाढ

पाला (आयआयटी मद्रास) हे शहर परीक्षा केंद्रांच्या यादीतून वगळण्यात आलं आहे. तर झांसी (आयआयटी कानपूर), ढेंकनाल (आयआयटी खडगपूर), चंद्रपूर (आयआयटी मुंबई) आणि मुझफ्फरनगर (आयआयटी रुरकी) ही शहरं परीक्षा केंद्रे म्हणून वाढवण्यात आली आहेत.

गेट प्रवेश पत्र व परीक्षेच्या तारखा-

परीक्षेचे अॅडमिट कार्ड संकेतस्थळावर ८ जानेवारीपासून उपलब्ध होतील. गेट परीक्षेचे आयोजन ५ फेब्रुवारी ते १४ फेब्रुवारी या कालावधीत होणार आहे. परीक्षा २ वेगवेगळ्या सत्रांत होतील. पहिलं सत्र सकाळी ९ ते दुपारी १२ वाजेपर्यंत तर दुसरं सत्र दुपारी ३ ते सायंकाळी ६ वाजेपर्यंत असेल. अर्थात या शिफट्स तात्पुरत्या आहेत. म्हणेजच भविष्यात या बदल होऊ शकतो, असे आयआयटी मुंबईने कळवले आहे.

• एससी / एसटी / पीडब्ल्यूडी / महिलाः 1250 रुपये

Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE)

GATE Exam Details 2019: Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2020 examination, an Online registration is start from 03rd September 2019. Interested and eligible candidates can apply now. Candidates get into M. Tech./M.E./PhD Programs in IITs, IISERs, IISc and other known Institutes of India. candidates pay online fee and fill online application form before last date. The last date for applying online is 24th September 2019. For more details like eligibility criteria, how to apply etc. are given below as follow.

Eligibility Criteria for GATE 2020

Pre-Examination related information is given in table and Qualification degree, year of passing which candidates are eligible for this examination. The candidates who possess certification from any of the professional societies (IE, ICE,IETE,AeSI,IIChemE,IIM,IIE) and have enrolled on or before May 31, 2013 are also eligible to participate in GATE 2020

Application Process for GATE 2020

• Application for GATE 2020 must be submitted ONLINE (through GOAPS website, http://appsgate.iitd.ac.in) by paying necessary application fee
• The photograph, signature, certificate of qualifying degree, category certificate (SC/ST/PwD) and/or Dyslexic certificate, wherever applicable, must be uploaded during the online application.
• Candidates must enter the ID number specified in any one of the following IDs: Passport, PAN Card, Voter ID, Aadhaar-UID, College ID, Employee ID and Driving License(any one ID is compulsory)
• Check the Status of the application form: Received, Under scrutiny, Accepted, Defect status, Status after rectification, Rejected with valid reasons, Admit Card ready for download, etc
• Download Admit Card (date declared very soon after online app. process)

Important Dates related to GATE 2020

• The payment of application fees is through electronic mode.
• The Admit Cards for GATE 2020 would be available only on GOAPS website. Candidates can download their Admit Card from GOAPS website. No printed copy of the Admit Cards will be posted to the candidates.
•  The candidate has to appear at the GATE Examination Centre on the date and time specified in the Admit Card
