JEE Main Exam 2020
The change in the academic schedule due to Corona has also led to a major change in the schedule of the JEE Mains exam. Students will be able to take the exam anytime during the four months of February, March, April, and May so that they can take the exam at their convenience. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has clarified that the February 2021 exams will be held between February 22 and 25. The application deadline for this has started from today (Tuesday 15).

कोरोनामुळे शैक्षणिक वेळापत्रकात झालेल्या बदलामुळे जेईई मेन्स परीक्षेच्या वेळापत्रकातही मोठा बदल झाला आहे. विद्यार्थ्यांना त्यांच्या सोईने परीक्षा देता यावी यासाठी फेब्रुवारी, मार्च, एप्रिल आणि मे या चार महिन्यात कधीही परीक्षा देता येणार आहे. फेब्रुवारी 2021 महिन्यातील परीक्षा 22 ते 25 फेब्रुवारी या दरम्यान होणार असल्याचे नॅशनल टेस्टिंग एजन्सीने (एनटीए) स्पष्ट केले आहे. यासाठी अर्ज भरण्याची मुदत आजपासून (ता. 15) सुरू झाली आहे.
कोरोनामुळे इयत्ता 12वीच्या परीक्षांचे वेळापत्रक पुढे गेले आहे. त्यातच देशातील प्रत्येक राज्यात वेगवेगळ्या कालावधीत या परीक्षा होणार असल्याने “जेईई मेन्स’ परीक्षेच्या आयोजनात अडचणी येत होत्या. त्यामुळे यावर तोडगा म्हणून “एनटीए’ने चार टप्प्यात परीक्षा घेण्याचा निर्णय घेतला आहे. यामध्ये विद्यर्थ्यांना एक किंवा एक पेक्षा जास्त वेळा परीक्षा देण्याचा पर्याय खुला ठेवण्यात आला आहे. दरम्यान, 2020 मध्ये जानेवारी व सप्टेंबर असे दोन वेळेस परीक्षा घेण्यात आली होती.
“एनटीए’ने मंगळवारी (ता. 15) जेईई मेन्स परीक्षेचे वेळापत्रक जाहीर केले आहे. यात पहिली परीक्षा 22 ते 25 फेब्रुवारी या दरम्यान सकाळी 9 ते 12 आणि दुपारी 3 ते 6 या दोन सत्रांमध्ये परीक्षा होणार आहे. ही परीक्षा महाराष्ट्रात 27 शहरांमध्ये तर देशात 329 शहरांमध्ये होणार आहे. तर अभ्यासक्रमातही कपात केली असून, प्रत्येक विषयांचे 25 प्रश्‍न विचारले जाणार आहेत. याबाबत अधिक माहिती www.jeemain.nta.nic.in या संकेतस्थळावर उपलब्ध आहे .
मराठीसह 12 भाषेत परीक्षा-“एनटीए’ने यंदापासून प्रादेशिक भाषेत परीक्षा देण्याची मुभा विद्यार्थ्यांना दिली आहे. त्यामध्ये इंग्रजीतून प्रश्‍न असतीलच पण त्यासह हिंदी, मराठी, असामी, बंगाली, गुजराती, कन्नड, मल्याळम, ओडीया, पंजाबी, तमीळ, तेलगु, उर्दू या भाषेतही प्रश्‍न विचारले जाणार आहेत. त्यामुळे इंग्रजीतून प्रश्‍न न समजल्यास विद्यार्थ्याला त्याच्या स्थानिक भाषेतून समजून घेणे शक्‍य आहे.

- Age Limit : The candidates who have passed class 12th / equivalent examination in 2018, 2019 or appearing in 2020 irrespective of their age can appear in JEE (Main) examination – 2020
- Qualifying Examinations (QE) :
- final examination of the 10+2 system
- Intermediate or two-year Pre-University examination
- Final examination of the two-year course of the Joint Services
- Senior Secondary School Examination
- Any Public School/ Board/ University examination
- Higher Secondary Certificate Vocational Examination
- Diploma recognized by AICTE or a State board of technical education

appearing for January JEE(Main) –2020 Examination
- Step-1: Register for Online Application Form and note down system generated Application Number
- Step-2: Complete the Application Form
- Step-3: Upload Scanned Images of Candidate’s Photograph and Candidate’s Signature
- Note: Upload the correct Photograph and Signature as the facility for correction in images will not be given
- Step-4: Payment by Debit/Credit Card/Net Banking/UPI/PAYTM
